Did you know that seniors falling is the leading cause of injury death in folks over 65? Do you have a loved one that lives alone and fits that description? If so, you better be careful!
Make sure they have “navigating” space throughout their home. Also, make sure they have a way to contact you or call for help if they live alone. There is special equipment you can buy or rent that will call for help with the push of a button. If you would like more information, please contact me at my email address below – or thru this blog.
Senior Straight Talk!

This is the first posting to our Straight Talk Blog – but not our first time to help people who find themselves in your position. Over the last 10 years, Vic and I have helped many Seniors and their families determine what the next step is going to be.
YORK COUNTY RANCH WITH 900 SF BUNGALOW OUT BACK.
Have you discovered lately that you have “too much house”, are “too far from your family”, “don’t want that yard to take care of anymore”; have a zillion questions, and don’t know where to turn?
There are naturally so many questions at that point in your life, when you wake up one day and decide, “I am ready for a change.” And Straight Talk is what you need!
We can give you all those answers. You will find just a phone call or email away, references to people specializing in Elder law, finances, volunteer programs available to help Seniors, such as, churches, food delivery or food availability for those living alone.
Looking for ideas about where you might move? Wonder what amenities are available at different communities? Do you want to find price ranges for local or distant retirement communities, references to moving companies, and anything else you might need to help you make your decision?
The first thing you might want to know is “how much is my home worth in today’s market?” We can answer that question for you, too. The real estate market is the target for so much information on television and through the printed page that you might think it is not the time to sell. But, that is not true. Both the Peninsula and Williamsburg remain strong markets for buyers and sellers – and that is an awesome place to be when you need to do both!
So, if it is information that you need, or a “warm fuzzy” about what happens next, just let us know!
